Full or partial reconstruction: what to choose?

In some cases, such as when a concrete shell is deformed, heavily dampened, or crumbling, repair may be impractical. There is a high risk of spending significant time and money without guaranteeing the desired result. It is more reasonable to demolish the old concrete structure and install a modern composite or polypropylene pool instead. These pools are made from strong, durable materials and can last for decades without major interventions.

Another effective solution during reconstruction is lining the existing shell with new polypropylene sheets. Impools specialists often use polypropylene due to the complexity and high cost of replacing built-in elements in old concrete pools. Full equipment replacement usually requires labor-intensive concrete work, which is not always cost-effective. In such cases, we offer an alternative: building a new polypropylene shell inside the old one, slightly smaller in size. All necessary modern equipment and embedded elements are integrated into this new structure, significantly speeding up and reducing the cost of pool reconstruction.

If the reconstruction does not require a complete shell replacement, a thorough restoration is carried out: all cracks and irregularities are repaired, surfaces disinfected, and the base prepared for a new coating. Waterproofing, tiling, filtration system, and other technical equipment are restored or fully updated if needed. Filters are cleaned and all engineering units checked. For aesthetic finishing, the area around the pool can be enhanced by installing decking, coping stone, covers, or automatic roller shutters.
