One of the most common chemical disinfection methods is dosing special substances based on chlorine, bromine, or active oxygen. These agents are automatically supplied into the water via dosing stations, which consist of chemical tanks, pumps, and a control panel. The staff only need to periodically replenish the reagent supplies. Automatic systems ensure precise dosing of disinfectants, pH regulators, and coagulants, reducing the risks of overdosing and thus chemical irritation of skin or mucous membranes. However, when using such systems, it is important to follow the rules for transportation and storage of reagents, as some of them are toxic and have a strong odor.

The chlorinator operates on the principle of electrolysis of table salt dissolved in the pool water. When the device is switched on, salt molecules are split, and the released active chlorine effectively destroys harmful bacteria and microorganisms. Unused chlorine reverts back into salt molecules, making the process environmentally friendly and safe. The chlorinator consists of two main parts: an electrolytic cell and a control panel. The cell is installed in the pool circulation system, and operation is controlled via a remote panel. To operate, simply add table salt at a ratio of 4 kg per 1 m³ of water and turn on the device. Swimmers will appreciate the advantages of the chlorinator: table salt is a natural component that does not irritate the skin, dry hair, or affect mucous membranes. Additionally, swimwear retains its color longer due to the gentle water treatment mode.

The ultraviolet (UV) system works by pumping water through a chamber with a UV lamp, where ultraviolet radiation effectively disinfects and destroys bacteria and microorganisms. UV rays have strong antibacterial properties, providing clean and clear water without the use of chemicals. For safety, water treatment with the UV system should be done only when the pool is empty. Such a system significantly reduces costs for chlorine-based reagents and algaecides while maintaining the natural water balance. At the same time, it is necessary to monitor and maintain the correct pH level for maximum equipment efficiency.
Безхлорна система E-CLEAR
E-CLEAR systems are among the few worldwide that allow water sterilization without the use of chemicals. Thanks to E-CLEAR technology, there is no need for chlorine, bromine, or other chemical reagents. The device combines the action of an active oxygen generator with a block of titanium electrodes coated with platinum and an ionizer with paired pure copper plates. Copper ions produced by the ionizer effectively inhibit the growth of algae and fungi while preserving the beneficial properties of water for human health. In addition, the copper electrodes generate calcium ions that prevent the formation of hard mineral deposits on equipment, pipes, and pool walls, thereby extending the system’s lifespan.
